由于闪点不能完全准确表示液体可燃的最低温度
根据ASTM E1232-07标准
研制了一套测量可燃性物质最低可燃温度的实验系统
该系统可用于液体及固体的可燃性实验研究
实验测量的重复性与准确度均优于±0.5 ℃。对ASTM E1232-07标准中给出的两种可燃性物质进行了测试
验证了实验系统的准确性。利用新研制的实验系统对几种常见可燃性液体的最低可燃温度进行了实验研究
并将其与闪点的测量结果进行了比较
在所研究的几种可燃性物质中
闪点与最低可燃温度的最大偏差达到了4 ℃
实验结果表明闪点测量结果具有一定的安全局限性。
Because the lowest explosion temperature of combustible liquids cannot be completely accurately described by flash point
a low temperature limit of flammability measurement system for testing the flammable liquid or solid chemicals is developed following the standard of ASTM E1232-07. The repeatability and accuracy of the apparatus get better than ±0.5 ℃. The reliability of the system is validated by the measurements for acetic acid and phthalic anhydride. Low temperature limits of the flammability of several common flammable liquids are sought out and experimentally compared with their flash points. The maximum deviation between the low temperature limits of flammability and the flash points approaches 4 ℃
which reveals the importance of low temperature limit of flammability for the safety production
transport and operation in the industries relating to flammable compounds.
