To enhance the dynamic performance of a class of complex uncertain systems with multiple time delay
the guaranteed-cost robust controller with H

disturbance restraint is designed. A sufficient condition for the guaranteed cost H
∞
robust controller is established and proved by constructing a proper Lyapunov function and Schur complement lemma
then it is translated into a form of linear matrix inequality(LMI)
hence the method for designing the controller is obtained. The designed controller guarantees that the closed-loop system is regular
impulse-free
robust and stable
and the given H
∞
norm bound and the constraint condition of cost upper bound are satisfied. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed controller is robust to both time delay and changes of uncertain parameters
and the system has strong control ability for restraining disturbance.
