Since the current global-shape-based 3D model retrieval algorithm cannot conduct partial matching
a new approach based on attribute adjacent graph of B-Rep models is proposed. By extracting B-Rep information of the models
the sub-part and the CAD model are represented by the attribute adjacent graph. According to the attribute of the CAD model surfaces and edges
the edges whose attributes get similar to the sub-part are identified
and then new sub-part is separated by combining these edges. Therefore
whether CAD model contains the objective sub-part is estimated by comparing their corresponding adjacent matrixes. The experimental results show that this method realizes the partial matching of CAD model
and the efficiency meets the requirement of engineering retrieval.
