A Design and Optimization Method for Measurement Systems of Vector Magnetic Properties of Electrical Steel Sheets
A magnetic material is added on the surface of a magnetic pole to improve the magnetization uniformity and exciting capability for measurement systems of vector magnetic properties of electrical steel sheets. An exciting structure with high magnetization uniformity is designed based on finite element analysis by changing the space of air gap and the position of shield and decreasing magnetic pole coupling and stray interference. Then the structure is optimized by a sequential quadratic programming method
and the optimal value of magnetic material permeability is calculated to reduce the magnetic resistance between magnetic circuits and the demand of exciting power. The measurement system of vector magnetic properties is finally established
and the magnetization performance of the system is evaluated. Simulation and experimental results show that the waveform error of magnetic flux density decreases by 57.1% after optimization
and the uniformity of magnetization increases. The amplitude of magnetic flux density under the same excitation increases by 58.6%
and the demand for the exciting power reduces.
