Based on force line translation theorem and finite element method
the stress distribution in the internal surface of flat container was studied
and a new flat container structure was proposed to release its stress concentration. The reasonable width and interference of the new structure were obtained with a suppression of the stress peaks by 5%
so the new structure of flat container can improve its service life. The proposed flat container may provide a reference for optimizing the structure design and assembling of flat containers.
