A joint beamforming method of information and noise is proposed to reduce the power consumption of conventional zero-forcing beamforming method for full duplex secure communication systems. An information beamforming vector is designed for down-link communication of a full-duplex base-station(FD-BS)in a Gaussian channel model
and a noise beamforming vector is designed to jam the eavesdropper and to protect the information of both uplink and downlink for FD-BS. Then the joint beamforming problem
that is NP hard
is converted to a convex optimization problem which can be efficiently solved
and the optimal information beamforming vector and noise beamforming vector are derived from the optimal solutions. Simulation results show that when both the uplink and the downlink secret rates are set to 3 b/(s·Hz)
the proposed algorithm effectively reduces the power consumption of FD-BS. A comparison with the conventional zero-forcing beamforming method show that the power saved by the proposed algorithm is 18%.
