HFE7000 and HFE7200 have been widely used as heat transfer fluids in semiconductor industry and cleaning solvents in electronic components because of their favorable thermophysical and environmental properties. To obtain their surface tension and viscosity data
HFE7000 and HFE7200 were measured in the temperature range from 293 to 393 K based on surface light scattering method in the present work. The obtained 44 experimental data were used to fit the equations of surface tension and viscosity. The absolute deviations between the calculated surface tension from the equations and the experimental results are within ±0.1 mN·m
-1
and the relative deviations are within 2%. The experimental data of surface tension and viscosity and the equations obtained in this research can pr
ovide the basic thermal physical data for the engineering applications of HFE7000 and HFE7200.
