The problem that the optical excitation vibration process in photoacoustic spectrum remote sensing devices is influenced by air damping and laser device with different powers is considered
and a numerical simulation method is used to study the first four orders of vibration mode. A harmonic response analysis model for the vibration of quartz tuning forks excited by laser is established. Simulations are performed to study the effects of lasers with different power on vibration of quartz tuning fork
where the lasers after absorption of detected objects and collection by concave mirror excite the vibration. It is found that the resonance amplitude of tuning forks is proportional to the laser energy. In addition
the influence of different air dampings on the vibration of tuning fork is also taken into account in a large extent. Comparative analyses show that the laser power cannot be less than 10 mW
otherwise the resonance amplitude of the tuning fork is too small to generate proper piezoelectric current for detection of weak signal. Adopting vacuum packaging and increasing laser power improve the resonance amplitude of the tuning fork
while the influence of the former is greater. The conclusion may provide a theoretical guidance for further study of the photoacoustic spectrum analysis.
