Comparison Between Two Strategies for Suppressing DC Bias in Three-Phase Inverter Without Output Transforms
To suppress the output DC component of three-phase inverter without output transformers due to control drift and inconsistent device performances
two modulation strategies are comparatively proposed. In the first modulation strategy
band-pass filter is adopted to detect the DC component in total output current
then the SVPWM pulse width is compensated with PI control in dq coordinate system. In the second strategy
slip average filter is chosen to detect the DC component
then SVPWM pulse width is compensated with PI control in abc coordinate system. Following the discussions for modeling and simulating
the experiments for 450 kW three-phase inverter are conducted and the results indicate that the slip average filter better suppresses the output DC component
while band-pass filter does not meet the suppressing standards under light load and works worse than the former under heavy load.
