flames as a model of syngas combustion was conducted to understand the flame-turbulence interaction of syngas oxyfuel turbulent premixed flames at high pressure. The instantaneous flame front structure of the turbulent premixed flames at high pressure was obtained with the OH-PLIF technique. The quantitative flame front structure parameters like flame volume
flame surface density and flame front scale were derived. The flame-turbulence interaction was analyzed for various mixtures. The results show that the flame front structure of syngas flames is much finer and has a smaller scale compared with that of CH

and one reason for this could be that the wrinkle of the flame front due to turbulence is limited by the flame intrinsic instability.
