Prediction Method of Surface Heat Transfer Coeff icients of Secondary Cool ing Area for Continuous Casting Slab
modified direct numerical met hod for solving t he inver se heat conduction problem for<br />slab continuous casting is proposed. By discreti-ing t he differential equations and setting up t he<br />relationship between time nodes and space nodes
t he corresponding heat t ransfer coefficient s of<br />different surface temperature were obtained under different water spraying conditions
f urt her2<br />more
t he heat t ransfer coefficient s were predicted based on t he experimental data. Compared<br />wit h t he competing methods
the modified direct numerical met hod enables to avoid t he unstable<br />result s during t he initial period
and improves the solution accuracy and robust ness significantly.<br />The met hod can be used to correctly water spraying system for t he secondary cooling region of<br />slab continuous casting.
