A foundation pit stability of a foundation pit engineering in Zhejiang
China
is evaluated and analyzed with the engineering system analyzing method. The engineering system fully-coupled matrix is established via calculating system binary mechanism
mechanism network paths
and binary mechanism matrix. Combining engineering practice with system fully-coupled matrix
the interactions among the variables in practice and system are discussed
furthermore the engineering system stability is evaluated. According to the fully-coupled system analysis
it is found that the foundation pit excavation depth
retaining pile deformation
surrounding earth settlement and soil pressure affect obviously the stability of foundation pit system. Thus the optimized system variables can be taken to improve foundation pit stability.
