A dynamic mathematic model of the directly-driven hydraulic press hydraulic system is constructed by means of power bond graphs to describe the relationship between input and output and completely consider nonlinearity in hydraulic system. The influences of load
pipe line diameter and pump damping of the hydraulic system on the dynamic characteristics are revealed. Some primary parameters are optimized by means of ODE converter technique based on optimization of dynamic pressure response to outlet of hydraulic cylinder. The results show that hydraulic pipe diameter has great influence on dynamic response of the directly-driven hydraulic system
and pump damping obviously affects output pressure and velocity of the hydraulic system. When the optimized pump damping gets 0.031 1
the hydraulic system performs with better dynamic response.
