A type of Duffing equation with time delay is solved by precise integration method and the Poincar map. The influences of time delay and feedback gain on the system's phase shifting solutions are discussed by Poincar sections and the bifurcation diagram. It shows that motion form of system changes with the varying time delay. The time delay is able to serve as a bifurcation switch to change the forms of system movement into period-doubling
quasi-periodic or chaotic motions. And system nonlinear dynamic behaviors get more complex as feedback gain increases.
