A new high-speed spindle balancing method based on dynamic model is presented to suppress vibration from imbalance. It only needs to collect data of vibration response at operating speed without trial weights. Concentrating the continuously distributed imbalance and reducing relationship matrix between unbalance response and imbalance
the new method enables to achieve double plane balance of the high-speed spindle in two arbitrary positions
which identifies the equivalent concentrated imbalance accurately
and the vibration response induced by the identified imbalance is similar to that induced by original continuously distributed imbalance. Adding the counterweight
the imbalance vibration of spindle is suppressed effectively.
