A modeling method by describing sound subjective evaluation with objective psycho-acoustical parameters is proposed to treat with sound subjective evaluation with long period
poor repeatability and quite differently comparable sound samples. The interior noises from six cars at constant driving speed are selected as the evaluation objects. The subjective evaluation test is carried out with the paired comparison
and several primary objective psycho-acoustical parameters of these samples are calculated. Following the multi-dimensional regression analysis
a sound quality subjective evaluation model is developed. The model with psycho-acoustical parameters gets more suitable to describe car interior noise quality than A weighted sound pressure level(SPL)and linear SPL. Loudness and sharpness incarnate the main factors of interior noise quality at constant driving speed.
