Following the theoretical research on working process of screw compressors
the mathematical models for simulation of the thermodynamic performance and dynamic characteristics of the screw compressor are proposed
which are experimentally verified by means of recording the indicator diagrams(p-V diagrams)with a small pressure sensor embedded in the female rotor
the measurement of pressure pulsation in the discharge chamber and the forces acting on the rotors
and the visualization experiment on oil distribution in the compressor. It indicates the relation between the performance and the design parameters of the screw compressor. Simultaneously
the key technology for screw compressor is developed including profile design method
the cutter design
the soft package of SCCAD. Up to now
more than 50 models of twin screw compressor products have been developed and mass manufactured to meet the requirement of refrigeration
aerodynamic and petrochemical industry.
