Aiming at the errors due to un-equivalence and un-parallelism of light planes in the measuring system
an errors compensation method based on triangular standard piece is presented. Analyzing the error origin
the mathematical models of relationships of measuring errors with un-equivalence and un-parallelism of light planes are established
and the structured light stripes are projected on the slope of a triangular standard piece
the informations of un-equivalence and un-parallelism of light planes are converted into the light plane where the measuring system can measure accurately utilizing the ability of geometric conversion of slope of the triangular standard piece
the error data of un-equivalence and un-parallelism of light planes are obtained by CCD capture and mathematical calculation
and the measuring data are compensated according to the measured error data. An experiment verifies that the measuring accuracy can be improved by 40% as the structural errors of multi-linear structured light probe are compensated with the presented method.
