The gasification of hemicellulose in supercritical water to produce hydrogen-rich gas was performed
and K

CO
3
Ca(OH)
2
and Ru/C were used as catalysts during the gasification processes.The experimental results show that all the catalysts have good catalytic effect on the gasification of hemicellulose and for hydrogen production
in which Ru/C is the best one.Hydrogen production reaches 14.365 mol when added 0.8 g Ru/C to 1 kg hemicellulose
which is 1.6 and 1.9 times that when K
2
CO
3
and Ca(OH)
2
were added respectively.The hydrogen productivitywith the mixture of several catalysts mentioned above is greater than that with a single catalyst.Temperature increasing could obviously improve the productivity of hydrogen
