catalysts were synthesized by thermal sulfidation of the precursor
coprecipitation and solvothermal. The catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction patterns
UV-Vis diffuse reflection spectrum
scanning electron microscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The reason for the high activity of catalyst by thermal sulfidation of the precursor is that NaInS

on the surface of the catalyst facilitates forming composite semiconductor to enhance the photocharge separation and heighten the hydrogen evolution rate to 61.68 μmol/(h·g).The stability of the photocatalyst can be obviously improved due to the smaller specific surface area.
