The dehydrogenation of cyclohexane catalyzed by Raney-Ni in a multi-dropwise manner under wet-dry multiphase conditions for on-board hydrogen source system is investigated. The effects of reactant supply on the conversion and evolution rate of cyclohexane and the dehydrogenation kinetics of cyclohexane are discussed. The experimental results reveal that the former introduced cycolhexane exerts slight influence on dehydrogenation of the following ones when the reactant supply is small while the influence becomes obvious with the increasing reactant supply
which indicates that the energy balance serves as the key to multiphase reaction.
