Based on modeling theory and three-dimension numerical simulation
a modeling test method about the steam-solid two-phase flow within the regulating stage nozzles of supernormal parameter steam turbine was investigated. The results show that the Mach number and Stokes number are decisive similarity criterion
and the modeling errors of the particle impacting velocity and angle on nozzle wall are less than 5% and 3°
respectively. The final results meeting the modeling demands have to be selected from a range of experiments with different parameters. The forecasting of numerical simulation provides a good method to optimize experiment parameters. In addition
the influence of particles rebound on solid particle erosion(SPE)is very weak in nozzle
and maximum deviation of SPE caused by different particles rebound models is 3%.
