Aiming at the interferometric phase wrapping in squint model
a novel interferometric inverse synthetic aperture radar(ISAR)imaging algorithm based on dominant scatterers is proposed. By using the higher level of signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)and the more accurate interferometric phase estimations of dominant scatterers
the relationship between the target's Doppler frequency and the cross range is obtained based on the information about Doppler frequency and the cross range at dominant scatterers. The whole ISAR image can be scaled
and then
the interferometric ISAR image is obtained. The proposed algorithm can not only eliminate the phase wrapping
but also be robust to noise. Compared with the traditional interferometric ISAR imaging algorithms
the SNR that is required in the proposed algorithm is decreased by 10-15 dB when the vivid image is generated.
