摘要

针对视频通信中差错控制方法的研究热点——选择性重传技术

着重在重传决策的位置、重传数据内容的划分、网络状态对重传的影响以及支持选择重传的传输协议等4个方面进行讨论

给出了3个使用选择性重传的视频抗误码系统.在混合自动重传技术的研究基础上

提出了用于视频传输的混合自动选择重传方案.该方案可以灵活调整校验数据和重传数据占整个传输数据的比例

在冗余开销和重传时延之间得到更好的权衡.最后

指出了视频通信中选择性重传的主要研究方向

包括视频内容分类、选择重传的准则和时机

以及可用于实际视频通信的低复杂度、易实现的选择性重传方案.

Abstract

The selective retransmission technology is a research hotspot in error control methods for video communications. Four aspects of the technology are discussed

including the location of retransmission decision

the retransmission contents classification

the impact of network states on the retransmission

the transport protocols supporting selective retransmission. Then

three error resilient systems using selective retransmission are described. Based on the hybrid automatic repeat request technology

a hybrid automatic selective repeat request scheme is presented for video transmission. The scheme can flexibly adjust the proportion of the check data and the retransmission data to the whole transmission data

which may lead to a better tradeoff between the redundancy cost and the retransmission delay. In addition

the main research directions of the selective retransmission in video communications are pointed out

including video content classification

the criteria and timing for selective retransmission

and selective retransmission schemes with low complexity

easy implementation for practical video communications.
