An experiment on the performance of water-driven jet steam ejectors with three area ratios and four distances between the throat and the spout was conducted at the inlet water pressure of 0.14-0.50 MPa
the temperature of 23-60 ℃
and the outlet water pressure of 0.096-0.110 MPa. The results show that the temperature rise and the flux ratio increased first and then decreased with the increase of the area ratio and the distance between the throat and the spout. The values of the temperature rise and the flux ratio would be maximum when the area ratio equaled 6.25 and the dimensionless distance between the throat and the spout was 4.50. In addition
the temperature rise and the flux ratio decreased with the increase of the inlet water pressure
the inlet water temperature
and the outlet pressure
respectively.
