To improve the performance of the piezoelectric cantilever in energy harvesting
multiple piezoelectric cantilevers(PECS)were manufactured. The resonance frequency of PECS was analyzed by FEM and tested by experiments. It is found that the calculated results are in good agreement with the experimental results. Compared with a single piezoelectric cantilever
the PECS can effectively increase the band of resonance frequency. A maximal output power of 4.9 mW can be obtained from the PECS at 60 Hz across a resistive load of 820 Ω
which is enough for some wireless communication systems.
