ceramics is investigated by water slurry with different abrasive particles hardness on a liquid-solid dual phase erosion test machine. High chromium cast iron Cr15Mo3 for industrial pumps is taken as a reference material in the erosion-wear test. The erosion-wear failure mechanism of the test materials in slurry erosion is discussed. The result shows that the slurry erosion volume of Cr15Mo3 is 4 to 6 times larger than that of series α-Al
