The methods of designing hydrogen network are based on the rules for single impurity systems nowadays. The design rules and procedures for hydrogen network with multiple impurities are presented where the influence of impurity concentrations on the system is taken into account. Considering the relative position of hydrogen sources and sinks with the pinch point
four design rules are proposed to decide the unreasonable matches. To determine whether sources and sinks can be matched
the mixing rules are proposed
i.e. if there is at least a source in which the product of all the impurity concentrations is less than or equal to sink j's product of all the impurity concentrations
the sources and sink j can be matched. A case study validates the strategy.
