针对传统网格法在模拟球阀瞬态关闭过程中存在的网格畸变、数值不稳定及交界面误差等问题,基于移动粒子半隐式法(MPS)提出了一种高精度、稳定压力进出口边界模型,并对球阀的关闭过程进行了瞬态数值模拟,得到了球阀从全开至全关过程中进出口压差、流量系数和流阻系数随开度的变化规律,结合不同开度下的速度场与压力场,揭示了流动分离、涡流生成及水锤现象等非定常流动机理。结果表明:阀门进出口压差随着阀门开度的减小呈先增大后减小非线性趋势;流量系数在开度大于70°时变化平缓,开度小于70°后急剧下降;流阻系数在开度大于45°时变化缓慢,开度小于45°后显著升高;随着开度不断减小,出口和阀芯流道内形成漩涡并不断扩大,动能耗散加剧;阀前高压区与阀后低压区共存,阀芯内流体接近滞止导致静压堆积;关阀水锤压力表现出先增大后减小的变化趋势,随着关阀时间的延长,最大水锤压力逐渐降低。研究结果可为球阀的设计和优化提供一定的理论支持,对提升管道系统安全性与稳定性具有参考意义。
To address the challenges of mesh distortion
numerical instability
and interface errors in conventional mesh-based methods for simulating the transient closing process of ball valves
this study proposes a high-accuracy and stable pressure inlet/outlet boundary model based on the Moving Particle Semi-Implicit (MPS) method. Transient numerical simulations of the ball valve closing process is performed. The variation patterns of the inlet/outlet pressure differential
flow coefficient and resistance coefficient with the ball valve from fully open to fully closed are obtained. Furthermore
by analyzing the velocity and pressure fields at different opening degrees
the mechanisms of flow separation
vortex formation
and water hammer effects were revealed. The findings indicate that the pressure difference across the valve exhibits a nonlinear variation pattern
initially increasing and then decreasing as the opening decreases. The flow coefficient remains relatively stable when the opening is greater than 70°
and sharply drops with the opening below 70°. The resistance coefficient slowly changes when opening is greater than 45°
and rapidly increases when the opening falls below 45°. As the opening continues to decrease
the outlet flow tube and the spool flow tube formed vortex and expanding
leading to intensified kinetic energy dissipation. The high-pressure region upstream and a low-pressure region downstream coexist
the fluid within the valve core approaches stagnation
resulting in static pressure buildup. The water hammer pressure exhibits a trend of first increasing and then decreasing. As the valve closing time lengthens
the maximum water hammer pressure gradually reduces. The findings of this study provide theoretical support for the design and optimization of ball valves
and have significant engineering guiding for improving the safety and stability of pipeline systems.
